Yesterday, the White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced that the participants will include House Intel Chair Devin Nunes, House Oversight Chair Trey Gowdy, FBI Director Christopher Wray, DNI Director Dan Coats, and DOJ’s Ed O’Callaghan. Guess what? NO DEMOCRATS are explicitly invited to this highly irregular and inappropriate meeting. Senator Minority Leader Chuck Schumer released a statement: «This meeting must be bipartisan in order to serve as a check on the disturbing tendency of the president’s allies to distort facts and undermine the investigation and the people conducting it.” We agree.
