So a few months ago my wife and I were scrolling away on and Facebook and she came across an ad in her newsfeed from a main stream website service.
I won’t mention the name of the website to protect the guilty… but I will say the comments were more than entertaining.
People were slamming the service left and right for being deceptive and many of them were angry former customers…
We posted a single reply to someone’s comment saying «if you’re still having this problem, shoot me a message. I might be able to help».
And to my surprise I received several messages!
One guy even bought my offer on the spot and earned me a cool $850 profit.
No joke, it was that simple…
Good for me but horrible for the company running the ad.
But this isn’t just limited to ads, it’s for any post on Facebook or Instagram…
Misery loves company and it only takes one person to start a snowball of trolls and complainers…
So I’ve got two takeaways for you here:
First, if you see others with legitimate complaints in ad comments, that might be your opportunity to offer a solution (but I wouldn’t post a link)…
Second, and more importantly, if you’re worried about having people trash your posts with their links, negative comments or unrelated spam it’s a valid concern.
Not only does it hurt you but it can also hurt your audience or discourage others from engaging.
So if you’re doing any form of business on Facebook or Instagram and want to avoid unwanted comments and only allow productive and helpful interactions, then you’ll love this solution: See How To Avoid Spam & Negative Comments Here
